Contact Westmoreland County Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program

How to get help for yourself or for someone you are working with?

To receive financial assistance through HPRP, the individual or family must have at least an initial consultation with a case manager or other authorized representative who can determine the appropriate type of assistance to meet their needs and what agency can best help.

At this initial consultation, you may be asked to bring documentation related to your specific need. Examples would be:

  • A Magistrate's eviction notice if you are about to become homeless.
  • A copy of a utility bill if you need help in paying your utility bill (Note: the utility bill must be in the name of the person seeking assistance).
  • Letter from a shelter if you have been residing there and need more permanent housing.
  • A copy of your lease if you need help paying your rent.
