Can I Afford a New Home?
Don't
be discouraged by the headlines about the housing market. Our
programs are growing, and we are helping families like yours find a
new home every day. It may be the perfect
time for you to take that first step toward owning your own home.
You may even find the mortgage payment is less than what you are
paying currently for rent. You can also save on monthly utility
costs with the energy efficiency of new construction and heating and
cooling systems.
Don't Count Yourself Out. In our experience, more
people qualify than think they do. Help with the down payment and
closing costs is also available for income eligible first-time homebuyers.
Visit our Home Buying Eligibility page and
contact Northwood Realty to begin
the application process.
Homebuyers with incomes between $30,000 and $56,000 per year may be eligible,
depending on the number of people residing in the home, so don't hesitate to
call.
If you qualify, Westmoreland Community Action will send you an application
to complete. For the application, you will need to provide bank statements
and verification of all household income.
Homebuyer's Resource Center
At
Affordable Homes Westmoreland, our mission is to help you find affordable
