The South Sixth Street Revitalization Project, considered one of the largest revitalization efforts in Westmoreland County history, is one phase of a large-scale revitalization plan for Jeannette which also includes the business district and industrial park area. It is a cooperative project of the City of Jeannette, Westmoreland Community Action, Homes Build Hope and the Westmoreland County Department of Planning and Development.

The residential development along South Sixth Street is conveniently located just blocks from the shops and restaurants in the downtown Jeannette Business District. Eventually, the neighborhood will include 25 privately owned homes and 18 townhomes which will be available for rent.
